Irene was born in New York City and spent her youth there. She met and married Sam Pokloff and moved to San Antonio where she lived until her death. She and Sam had four children, Etta, Joyce, Estelle, and Leslie. She was called from us at a young age on September 1, I960 but shall always be remembered as a beautiful person and a wonderful mother.
