Giving other people cause to smile and sharing laughter, was one of Abe Suprun’s greatest pleasures in life. This characteristic was also a virtue; since he was charitable in every facet of his life. Abe was an active participant in many organizations and worthwhile endeavors; contributing to this community on both a financial and personal level. Rodfei Sholom Synagogue held a special meaning for Abe. His father, Ben Suprun, had been a charter member and Abe served as Synagogue president during its Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration. Abe Suprun was interested and challenged by so many things in his life, and his visits to Israel became an important phase of this life. He was proud of his heritage and what the Jewish People and Israel had accomplished. Abe’s Warmth towards his friends — and everyone was his friend — his generosity of spirit and jovial nature came through to all who knew him. His life was full. His life was meaningful — and his smile always helped make a sometimes difficult world more beautiful.
