Abraham Spitz was born in 1888 in the city Prem, State of Suwalk in Russia. He arrived in the United Sates in 1907 and came to San Antonio, Texas in 1911. Mr. Spitz was a member of Con gregations Agudas Achim and Rodfei Sholom; also Hebrew Free Loan Association, Jewish Community Center, Talmud Torah, Jewish National Workers Alliance and Labor Zionist Organization. He was a liberal donor to all good and worthy causes. Mr. Spitz passed away at the age of 65 on the 6th day of Shevat in the year 5713, corre sponding to January 19, 1953.
