Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Matusoff

Joseph Matusoff was born and reared in Kiev, Russia, and ar rived in San Antonio, Texas, in 1924. Leah, his wife, was born in Gomel, Russia, and arrived in Mobile, Alabama, in 1923. They were married in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 25, 1928. Mr. Joseph Matusoff is the son of Mr. Aaron Matusoff, the well known Hebrew and Talmudic scholar of San Antonio, Texas. Leah Matusoff is the daughter of Aaron I. Heifetz of Gomel, Russia. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Matusoff have both been and are now, active in various Jewish organizations. Mr. Matusoff is at present, President of the Hebrew Sheltering Society and is active in the Hebrew Free Loan Association. Mrs. Matusoff is active in the Pioneer Women and Jewish National Fund Organizations.
