T his P age I s P resented T o Mr. Joe Slapper B y T he HEBREW FREE LOAN ASSOCIATION I n appreciation of the many years OF DEDICATED SERVICE HE HAS GIVEN THE ASSOCIATION AS A MEMBER, A TRUSTEE, AND PRESIDENT

Mr. Slapper became a member of the Association in the year 1946 and immediately took an active interest in its affairs and activities. He served both as a member and chairman of the Association’s picnic Committee for many years. These years of service culminated in his being elected Association President in the years of 1970 and 1971. He accepted the presidency as a trust and endeavored to maintain the high and noted standards of the Association, as President, by processing all loan applications with prompt ness, and performing other presidential duties with efficiency. It was under his administration that the Association amended its con stitution to make all past presidents automatic Board members with voting privileges. His wife, Sylvia, and daughters Irene Jacqueline, Roslyn Ann, and Cynthia Lynn noted with pride his interest and active participation in the Association and gave their unlimited encouragement and support to his endeavors. The Hebrew Free Loan Association is pleased to honor Joe with this page with the expressed hope that he will continue to serve the Associa tion many more years and that it will also serve as a source of fond recollection to him and his family in the years to come.
