Mr. and Mrs. Michael Milgrom came to the United States in 1881 and have been residing in San Antonio close to a half century. They have raised a fam ily of four daughters and have brought them up in Jewish spirit. Mr. Milgrom has always been an active member in this community and has taken a great interest in Jewish affairs. Mr. Milgrom was one of the Charter Members of the A g u d a s Achim Congregation. He served as president for eight years. He was also instrumental in forming the Beth Abra ham Lodge, which was later named after his father, Moses Milgrom Lodge.

in Mr. Milgrom took a great part forming the Hebrew School. He is a member for many years in the B'nai BYith Eda Lodge, the Zionist Organiza tion and is a member of the Hebrew Free Loan Association. Mrs. Milgrom also took a great deal of interest in her early days in the Jew ish Community and in many Jewish affairs. May the Almighty bless them for their good deeds and contributions and for their services which they have rendered to the Jewish Community of our city.
