Simcha Roetman was born in Yedinitz, Bessarbia (Roumania). He was educated in Odessa, Russia Sheva Roetman was born in Kaminetz Padosk, Russia Simcha and Sheva Roetman were both reared and lived as Orthodox Jews, both were very Pious.

They both died on July 6, 1941 Hebrew Calendar Date 11th Day of Tamuz, 5701

Their death on the same day was caused by the atrocities and brutalities of the Nazis.
