Mr. Zalim was born in Astrin, Vilno Guberni, Russia, January 7th, 1887. He came to the United States in 1905, and landed in New York City. In 1909 he came to San Antonio, and married in 1917. He was in business in this city, and resided in San Antonio until his death. He was a member of the Rodfei Sholom Congregation, in the Bnai Brith, in the Workmen's Circle, in the Zionist organization, and a Charter Mem ber of the Hebrew Free Loan Association, and a board member for many years. Mr. Jacob Zalim died June 2nd, 1957 (8th of Sivan, 5717, Hebrew Cal endar)
