The exacting and complete records that form a part of each meeting are due to the extraordinary ability of Jake.

The Hebrew Free Loan Association has grown from a scant handful of members during his tenure, until it has reached the present state of development with a roster that includes over 750 members. Jake is an institution within himself, a man that comes along once in a lifetime. Jake Ratner was born October 4, 1908. He married Sarah, his lovely wife, May 14, 1941, and has two wonderful children: Celita is 19 and presently a student at Texas University; Nathan is 12.
