Daniel Reif was bom in Bilgoray, Poland. He was educated in Zamosh, Poland.

Mr. Reif was president of Linas Hazedek. All of his adult life he worked hard for the relief of the needy.

Chaia Reif was born in Frampol, Poland.

Both Daniel and Chaia Reif were reared in Orthodox Jewish homes and lived their lives as pious Orthodox Jews.

Daniel Reif died at the age of 73, in Montreal, Canada, on May 2, 1953. Hebrew calender date, lyar 17, 5713.

Chaia Reif died in Wurtenburg, Germany, on September 10, 1948. Hebrew calender date Elul 6, 5708.
