Hyman Becker

By His Devoted Wife Marilyn, Son Sheldon, and Daughter Susan

Hyman Becker was born July 23, 1914, in Chicago, Illinois, and died April 1, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas. He married Merilyn Pinsky in 1940, and they have two children, a son, Sheldon, born in 1942, and a daughter, Susan, born in 1945. Mr. Becker was engaged in the wholesale ladies ready-to-wear gar ments, the Pan-American Fashions, at 428 W. Market Street, San Antonio, Texas. Hyman Becker was the son of Isaac and Sarah Becker of Chicago, Illi nois. He was a member of the Agudas Achim Congregation, and of its choir for 9 years. He was a great lover of the arts, and a member of the San Antonio Opera Company for five years. He was also a great lover of the sciences of chemistry, astronomy, physics and botany.

Born 1914. Died 1956. In Hebrew 20th of Nisan, 5716.
