Label’s term of service as a Board Member, had its beginning in August of 1946, when he was elected as a Board Member and continued, without interruption, until a short time before his death. Label was one, who neither coveted or sought high honors, but rather, was a board member who was satisfied to contribute his share, and more, of personal efforts towards making every Hebrew Free Loan enterprise an outstanding success. He will best be remembered, as that trustee, who year after year, was a consistent leader in the selling of picnic tickets, in addition, to being one of the hardest workers at the picnic itself. No committee assignment was too large, or too small, for him to undertake and complete to perfection. By these personal efforts, he, individually contributed much to the growth of the Association. Label came to the United States and then to San Antonio by way of Mexico, in the year 1926. Here, he had the good fortune to meet one of his attractive cousins, Bella Cohen, and after a brief courtship, made her his wife. Their marriage of many years, was a most happy one and was en hanced by the birth of three children, a son Marvin, and two daughters, Beverly Muskovitz and Rosalie Brenner, and four grandchildren. Throughout his busy lifetime of providing his family a comfortable living, he found time to affiliate with such organizations as the E nai B’rith, Rodfei Sholom Congregation and the Masons, of which he held the thirty second degree. His death, left a vacancy on the Board that was a difficult one to fill and his absence from Association functions, is, and will be visibly noted for many years to come. In dedicating this memorial Tribute to Label Ribakowski, the Asso ciation expresses the hope that his family will find much solace and comfort in the legacy of the record of good deeds and name, that he bequeathed them on his passing. May his Soul Rest In Eternal Peace. Born April 15, 1902. Died August 11, 1968. DEDICATED THIS 21st DAY OF MARCH, 1971
