Harry Smith was born in Russia and came to the United States with his parents and four sisters. As a young man he moved to Texas and settled in San Antonio where he operated a clothing and salvage store.

Harry was an individual who loved people and life. His main interests were the arts, shows and the library. Harry will be remembered as a kind and generous person.
